Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Dept night shift position requiring Epic proficiency and active ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
Details
- Emergency Department (ER) hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15 (3x12-hour shifts)
- Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
- 2 weekend shifts required per contract
- Epic EMR — experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license — KS or Compact license required
- Current certifications required at time of consideration: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted — individual applicants only
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years will be required for consideration
