Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring Epic charting experience, active ACLS/PALS/NIHSS certifications, and evening shift availability.
Details
- Emergency Department (ER) setting within a hospital environment
- Evening shifts from 15:00–03:00 (3x12-hour shifts)
- Choice of 36 or 48 hours per week
- 2 weekend shifts required per contract
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a Compact state currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
- Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
