Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Night position in New Mexico, welcoming first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience and telemetry monitoring support available 24/7.
Details
- Inpatient Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes stroke and post-surgical patients
- Telemetry central monitoring tech available 24/7 — nurses are not required to interpret dysrhythmias
- Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
- Choice of 36 or 48 hours per week
- Floating is required
- Weekends required as needed
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active NM or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before working as a traveler
- No travel pairs or groups accepted
- RTO is limited to no more than 3 days auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
- Scrubs may be any color, but no logos are permitted
