Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a night shift travel assignment at a Level II Trauma teaching hospital, requiring prior travel experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- NICU position within a 629-bed short-term acute care facility designated as a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Academic teaching hospital environment
- Expected patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on acuity
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Weekend availability required (variable)
- Floating between facilities within the state is expected; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- No on-call requirements
- Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
- No parking fee
Requirements
- Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrub color: any color permitted for RNs
- Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose the location(s) and dates worked
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
