Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN for a 13-week travel contract in the Salem, OR area, requiring at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and OASIS proficiency.

Details

• Home health setting serving patients in Salem, Keizer, Woodburn, Molalla, and surrounding communities
• 1:1 patient ratio with visits of up to 6 patients per day; standard productivity expectation of 30 points per day
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week (4x10 and 3x12 schedules are not available)
• May be required to work some weekends
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating between all facilities within Oregon is expected; refusal to float may result in termination
• Charts in Epic

Requirements

• Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required
• OASIS experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Traveler must have their own reliable personal transportation
• Occasional patient visits may require travel of 50+ miles, though the system groups clients to minimize drive and windshield time
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Any color scrubs are acceptable
• Parking is free
• Primary COVID vaccination series plus one booster required
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and will be accepted at the same rate
• Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility they are applying to
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
