Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular procedures, with Epic and Philips equipment experience required.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting covering Invasive Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular modalities
• Procedures include stents, ablations, paracentesis, peripheral upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Primary equipment is a Philips single-plane system; Siemens and bi-plane experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend requirement once every fifth week
• Call requirement of 5–8 shifts depending on staffing needs
• Holiday coverage required
• No float requirement

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required; 3 years preferred
• ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Current BLS required
• Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required if applicable — temporary LSRT accepted (typically issued within 3–5 days upon payment and proof of ARRT certification)
• Experience with stents, ablations, paracentesis, peripheral vascular studies, venous access, and hemodynamic monitoring required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Philips single-plane equipment experience required
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Scrubs are supplied by the facility
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Up to 5 days of RTO permitted for this assignment
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be considered
