Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active Georgia PT license.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting
• Monday through Friday schedule; no weekends or on-call required
• Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Floating within facility and scope of practice to other locations as needed
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Active Georgia PT license required prior to consideration
• All certifications listed in the position description must be current and available
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• Travelers who have previously worked at any facility within this health system must have been away for a full year before returning as a traveler
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO allowed; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two, with one holiday RTO request eligible for review
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• No alternate shifts or schedule change requests are permitted; the posted shift is firm
• Travel pairs may not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
