Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week pediatric hospital assignment, working 3x12-hour shifts on a Friday through Sunday schedule.

Details

• Short-term acute care pediatric hospital setting
• Outpatient center serving walk-in patients
• Fluoroscopy procedures include modified barium swallows and urodynamics
• Daily caseload of 30–75 patients per technologist, working alongside another technologist
• Equipment includes Konica U-arm, Philips, EOS, OEC, Dornier, and Ziehm
• Charting via Cerner (experience required)
• 3x12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required (AHA and RQI accepted; must be current at time of consideration)
• Minimum 18 months of X-Ray Technologist experience required
• IN state license or Compact license required if applicable
• Cerner EMR experience required
• 2 supervisor references required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates (IN residents) are accepted at a modified pay package for Allied positions
• Any current or former permanent or PRN employee of IU Health must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
• Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
