Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU travel assignment at a Level 1 Trauma Center children's hospital in Texas, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PICU experience and AHA certifications.

Details

• 24-bed Pediatric ICU at a Level 1 Trauma Center children's hospital in Austin, TX
• High-acuity, fast-paced PICU serving neurology, renal, pulmonary, surgical, and medical ICU patient populations
• Patient ratios are 1:1 or 1:2 depending on ICU patient status
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract
• Floating required to all areas as needed, including CVICU and NICU; a 12-bed PICU on the North Campus is also a potential float destination

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, PALS, and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address (no international addresses accepted)
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Copy of current certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration
• Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration

• Navy scrubs are required; pediatric print tops are permitted
