Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Chicago, IL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and active IL licensure.

Details

  • Work in an inpatient hospital Emergency Department
  • Night shift schedule: 18:00–07:30 (13-hour shifts)
  • Three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Weekends required as needed
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active IL RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience
  • Required certifications (all must be AHA-issued): BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
  • TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
  • CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) training required — must be an 8-hour course, renewed every 2 years
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
  • Two professional references required
  • Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
  • Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Local candidates are eligible to apply; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
  • COVID vaccination is not required
