Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Miles City, MT, requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Charting performed in Epic EMR
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active RN license in Montana (MT) or a compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; BSN preferred)
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS; ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS as appropriate — must not expire prior to start date
• Epic EMR experience
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs independent and delegated nursing functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, health teaching, treatment execution, patient referrals, and documentation per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN and specialty certifications are preferred but not required
