Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Wichita, KS, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and a KS or compact RN license.
Details
- Emergency Department setting with a high volume of behavioral health patients
- Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
- 13-week assignment
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license — KS state license or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA)
- TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)
- CPI/MOAB High-Risk training required: online portion (CPI Blue Card with Advanced Physical Skills or MOAB De-Escalation course) must be completed prior to start; on-site portion completed during orientation
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
