Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab travel position in Northwest Florida, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and active ACLS and BLS certifications.

Details

• Work setting is an acute care hospital Cardiac Cath Lab with 7 holding beds
• Performs a wide range of procedures including PCI, TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, right/left heart catheterization, Impella/IABP insertion, implants, DCCV, and TEE
• Equipment includes GE Innova imaging systems and Impella devices
• Documentation systems used are MacLab and Meditech
• Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with self-scheduling
• STEMI call coverage required approximately 10–12 days per month
• Floating may be required within the EP and Stress Lab departments

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required
• Experience with Structural Heart procedures, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR strongly preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required for this position
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• The unit has received Daisy and Sunflower Award recognition
• The department is supported by an experienced staff team
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• This is a travel-only position; no local candidates will be considered regardless of circumstances
• The facility is an acute care hospital recognized as an Accredited Chest Pain Center and Advanced Primary Stroke Center, also offering open heart surgery and comprehensive cardiovascular care
