Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring Cath Lab experience and structural heart procedure skills.
Details
- Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit of a hospital environment with 7 holding beds
- Schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with self-scheduling
- STEMI call required approximately 10 to 12 days per month
- Floating required within the department to EP and Stress Lab
- Uses GE Innova and Impella equipment
- Documentation completed in MacLab and Meditech systems
- Performs procedures including TAVR, PFO, atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP, implants, DCCV, and TEE
Requirements
- Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Cath Lab experience required
- Experience with structural heart procedures, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR required
- Advanced skills in PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP required
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- Two professional references required for Florida candidates
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiac cath lab setting performing advanced structural heart and interventional procedures
- Work alongside an experienced staff team
- Surgical scrubs provided by the hospital
- Unit has received Daisy and Sunflower awards recognizing outstanding patient care
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
