Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position supporting an Epic EMR conversion, requiring Cerner and Epic experience and a valid CA RN license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift position, 36 or 48 hours per week
• Floating to an additional facility location (Delano) is required as needed
• Uses Epic and Cerner EMR systems

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience, with experience in the specialty within the last 3 months
• Experience with both Cerner and Epic EMR within the last 5 years
• Must have worked as a permanent employee or successfully completed a travel contract (agency or facility)
• Two supervisor references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
• License must be active and unrestricted with no prior license hits
• Date of birth and Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Position is focused on supporting an active Epic EMR conversion
• No RTO (time off requests) will be approved for this contract
• Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO requested will not be considered
• A specialty-specific skills checklist completed within the past year is required
