Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced EP Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract in Ohio, requiring ACLS, BLS, and hands-on electrophysiology experience.

Details

• Position is in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab within a cardiac specialty hospital setting
• Procedures include cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction and removal, AICD insertion and programming, arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, conduction studies, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure, and cardiac implant closure device procedures
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00–17:30
• On-call requirement of 1 week every 2 months
• Epic EMR is used in this setting
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active Ohio or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of EP Lab RN experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Two professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former employees of the facility are eligible to apply once they have been away for 6 months or more
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract period
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting an offer — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet upon receipt
