Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, Epic proficiency, and remote telemetry monitoring experience, with night shifts and every-other-weekend requirements.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Primary patient population is Med/Surg, with telemetry monitoring capability
• Patient ratio is 1:5–6
• Remote telemetry monitoring experience is required
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Floating to all system campuses as needed for patient care
• EMR: Epic (required)

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Remote telemetry monitoring experience required
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during the compliance process, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
