Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Neuroscience ICU position at a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center, requiring at least 2 years of neuro ICU experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Position is based in a Neuroscience ICU (8AB) with the possibility of floating to the adjacent stepdown/IMCU unit
• High-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center with complex, high-volume, and diverse patient cases
• ICU patient ratio is 1:2; stepdown/IMCU ratio is 1:3-4
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 4 weekend shifts required per month
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling is generally not approved

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or compact state license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of neuro ICU experience required
• Proven experience in high-pressure, high-volume trauma environments with complex and severe cases — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Strong neuro experience must be clearly reflected on candidate profile

Additional Information

• Floating between the Neuro ICU and stepdown/IMCU is expected
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• Work history must include EMR information with no gaps greater than 60 days
• Copies of active certifications and current RN license required for consideration
