Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS certification and experience in general, vascular, and OB ultrasound for a weekend-focused imaging assignment.

Details

• Work in an imaging department at an acute care medical center
• Procedures include general ultrasound, limited OB/early gestation studies, vascular ultrasound, and breast imaging
• Weekend-heavy schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday — 4x10-hour day shifts
• Works independently on weekends without additional sonography staff on-site

Requirements

• ARDMS certification required
• Experience in general, vascular, OB, and breast ultrasound
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must test negative on a cotinine (nicotine) test — this is a non-smoking facility
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs general, limited OB/early gestation, vascular, and breast ultrasound examinations
• Candidate must be comfortable working solo in the imaging department on weekends
• Cotinine testing is required prior to starting — negative result required for eligibility
