Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital assignment at a critical access facility in Chewelah, WA, requiring 2+ years of experience and active Epic proficiency.

Details

• Critical access hospital setting with 23 total staff beds
• Primary assignment is inpatient physical therapy, with potential float to affiliated facilities in Colville and Spokane based on facility need and therapist ability
• Day shift, 3x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:00), Monday through Friday with flexibility for Monday–Thursday or Thursday–Friday schedules
• Workday volume varies based on hospital census
• Patient ratio of 1:5–10
• Epic EMR required
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• No block scheduling required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care physical therapy experience
• Active WA PT license required if applicable
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Ability and willingness to float to multiple facilities within the state
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Open to first-time travelers
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
• Any color scrubs are accepted
• No parking fees on site
