Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist with ARDMS RDCS or AE certification and experience in TEE, Stress Echo, and 3D strain imaging for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- Work in a hospital-based echocardiography / cardiac sonography unit
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional 8:30 AM rotation starts
- 4x10 schedules cannot be accommodated; candidates must be available for 5x8 shifts
- Rotating weekends, approximately 1 in every 4
- Floating to other affiliated health system facilities may be required
Requirements
- ARDMS RDCS or AE certification required
- Current BLS required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- Experience with GE and/or Philips echocardiography equipment required
- Proficiency in 3D strain and image enhancing techniques required
- Experience with TEE, Stress Echo, and Endo TE required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform a range of echocardiographic studies including TEE, Stress Echo, and Endo TE procedures
- All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed; candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
