Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with outpatient experience for a 13-week travel contract at an outpatient PT clinic, working four 10-hour days Tuesday through Friday.
Details
- Outpatient PT clinic setting located within an athletic club facility
- Primary patient population is orthopedic, with variety typical of a small community hospital
- Opportunity to assist with acute inpatient care if applicable
- Caseload of approximately 12 patients per day on 10-hour shifts
- Schedule is four days per week, Tuesday through Friday, with an 8:00 AM start time
- No weekend or holiday coverage required
- Charting is performed in Meditech
- Department-specific orientation begins on day one
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- Outpatient PT experience required; acute inpatient experience is a plus
- Active Oregon PT license required for this assignment (license required if applicable)
- Active BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
- Active state license required at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
- A copy of a valid driver's license is required for consideration
Additional Information
- The PT team consists of 10 physical therapists, 5 occupational therapists, and 2 speech-language pathologists, supported by rehab aides (no PTAs on staff)
- Business casual attire required; denim is not permitted
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit or CHI/Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates placed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
