Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience, active CO or compact RN license, and on-call availability on both weekdays and weekends.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 0700–1730
• 40 hours per week, 4 days per week
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call required on both weekdays and weekends
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Cath Lab specifically
• Required certifications (all must be AHA-issued and valid through the start of the assignment): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• ASN minimum; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for cardiac cath lab patients
• Executes delegated medical functions including referring patients for further evaluation or treatment and reviewing and monitoring therapy and treatment plans
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Navy blue or facility-standard scrubs may apply — confirm at time of offer
