Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab travel position in Maysville, KY, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and proficiency in L/R heart catheterization, FFR, IVUS, and peripheral procedures.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting within a 100-bed, acute care, Joint Commission accredited acute care hospital
• Adult patient population with common diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain
• Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• On-call required every 3rd weekday and every 3rd weekend
• No floating required
• MacLab used for charting/imaging (experience preferred)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
• Proficiency in left and right heart catheterization (L/R HC), FFR, IVUS, and peripheral procedures required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month
• Navy or royal blue scrubs required; open-toed footwear is not permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
