Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in an inpatient rehabilitation unit, requiring at least 6 months of recent PT experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
• 30-bed unit with a multidisciplinary team of 22 staff including PT, OT, SLP, and rehab techs
• Day shift only, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• Patient ratio of 7:1
• Utilizes typical IPR gym equipment including balance and gait systems
• Documentation completed in Meditech (Expanse)
• Weekend call rotation required

Requirements

• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 6 months of recent experience within the last 6 months in physical therapy
• SNF experience accepted
• Proficient in patient evaluations, ADLs, transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and functional training
• Experience with family and patient education
