Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center in Marinette, WI.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy Services department of a 99-bed Level III Trauma Center
• Patient population spans neonate to geriatric with respiratory conditions
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Performs procedures including intubations assist, mechanical ventilation, nebulizer therapy, BiPAP, CPAP, and ABG collection
• Equipment includes BiPAP V60s and V30s, Puritan Bennett 840 ventilators, and Hamilton and Enve transport vents
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• 12-hour night shifts, 1800–0630, 36 hours per week
• Every third weekend rotation, open to every weekend if preferred
• Holiday rotation required
• Minimal on-call requirement
• Floating throughout the hospital

Requirements

• Active CRT or RRT credential required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, with most recent experience within the last year
• Epic EMR experience required
• COVID vaccine required
• Professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the past year required for consideration
• Candidates who are former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must have been separated for at least 12 months to be eligible

• Team consists of 2 RTs per shift with 24/7 house supervisor support
• Orientation consists of 1 shift to learn workflow
• First-time travelers may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restrictions apply
• Any scrub color is acceptable
