Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in California, requiring a CA RN license, a minimum of 2 years of PACU experience, and availability for a 4x10-hour day shift schedule.

Details

  • PACU setting within a high-acuity hospital environment
  • Cares for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients across the full peri-anesthesia continuum from admission through discharge
  • Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, with start times between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM
  • No weekend requirements
  • Floating to other campus locations may be required based on need and census

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
  • Minimum 2 years of PACU RN experience required
  • High-acuity hospital or ICU experience required
  • Cath Lab experience preferred
  • 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
  • Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provides individualized peri-anesthesia nursing care including airway management, nursing assessment, and pharmacology management
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; candidates within 50 miles should contact their recruiter for local rate eligibility
  • Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
