Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Sonographer for a 13-week assignment performing general ultrasound studies including abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular cases in an acute care hospital setting.

Details

  • Monday–Friday day shift, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • General ultrasound cases include abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, abdominal vasculature, lower extremity DVT, and follicular studies
  • NICU and OR ultrasound experience is a plus
  • Equipment includes GE Logiq E10, GE Logiq E9, and GE Voluson systems
  • Epic used for charting

Requirements

  • Active MA license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
  • BLS certification required; must be AHA only
  • Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
  • Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the Boston facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced rate
  • No validated parking is available at the Boston location; public transportation is recommended and public parking lots are available at rates ranging from $17–$22 per day
  • Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
