Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a 13-week assignment performing general sonography exams including abdomen, OB/GYN, and vascular studies.
Details
- Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- General ultrasound caseload including abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, abdominal vasculature, lower extremity DVT, and follicular studies
- NICU and OR ultrasound experience a plus
- Equipment used includes GE Logiq E10, GE Logiq E9, and GE Voluson systems
- EMR system is Epic
Requirements
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted at most sites, AHA only at Salem)
- Active MA license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
- License required if applicable
- Primary source verification of professional license/certification required within 30 days of start
Additional Information
- Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates considered; permanent residence must be within 60 miles of the facility for the local rate
- Two professional references required for consideration
