Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center, with experience in a broad range of MRI exams and a willingness to float across inpatient, outpatient, and ED settings.

Details

• Level II Trauma Center with inpatient, outpatient, IR, and ED coverage
• MRI department performs a wide variety of exams including brain, spine, abdomen, and extremity scans, as well as specialized studies such as Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI on day shift
• Patient acuity ranges from ambulatory to total assist; day shift skews toward ambulatory patients while inpatient cases tend to require more assistance
• Float coverage required across outpatient, inpatient, and ED departments, as well as between all facilities within the state
• 3x12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• No weekend requirement
• Call is available but not required
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Parking covered by the facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• Current BLS, ARRT-MR or ARRT-IT certification required
• Active WA state license required (license required if applicable)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents preferred
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Travelers who have previously worked at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose the location and dates of that employment
• Refusal to float between facilities may result in termination of assignment
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact consideration
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable, with the exception of reddish-orange
