Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment in an Invasive Cardiovascular Services Department, with on-call requirements.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an Invasive Cardiovascular Services Department
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• M-F schedule with on-call responsibilities
• On-call required one day per week and every 4th Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Weekends required only when on call
• No floating outside of assigned unit

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or Surgical Technology required
• Must hold current registration or licensure as an ARRT (Radiologic Technologist), RCIS (Cardiovascular Technologist), or CST (Certified Surgical Technician) — license required if applicable
• Experience with Mac Lab system required
• Working knowledge of sterile surgical technique required
• Pending licensure is not accepted
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Additional Information

• Assist physicians as a scrub assistant, procedure circulator, and recording technician in invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Engage in both invasive and non-invasive cardiac testing
• Develop and maintain working knowledge of all equipment and procedures used in the care of cardiac patients
• Radiologic Technologists placed in the EP Lab must obtain RCES within two years of hire
