Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring at least 2 years of L&D and postpartum experience, prior travel experience, and an active MO or Compact RN license.

Details

• LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• Every other weekend required
• One holiday required per contract
• On-call responsibilities required
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ALS/ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in Labor & Delivery and postpartum
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care across the full LDRP continuum, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be considered at a reduced pay rate
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront or it will not be approved
• The facility operates 24/7/365; rotating shifts and coverage during inclement weather may be required
• Regular exposure to patients with contagious illnesses is expected in this role
