Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Oncology Telemetry position requiring strong telemetry or MedSurg skills and the ability to manage drips and cardiac rhythms.
Details
- 13-week travel contract
- 10 South Medical Oncology unit in a hospital setting
- Oncology-focused unit that also carries a high volume of complex telemetry patients
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (0700–1930)
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- Charting via Cerner
Requirements
- Active RN license in Indiana or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Strong telemetry experience preferred; candidates without telemetry experience must have strong Med/Surg experience and skill set
- Proficiency in drip management and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Must pass a medication and EKG test prior to placement
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Scrub colors: Royal Blue top with White or Royal Blue bottom
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
