Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with 3+ years of experience and ARDMS RDMS certification for a multi-site inpatient/outpatient radiology assignment requiring prior travel experience.
Details
- Inpatient and outpatient ultrasound in a radiology department setting
- Required to float across three sites: Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett
- All-ages patient population including pediatric patients
- Procedures include general ultrasound, small parts, vascular (upper and lower extremity venous), OB/GYN (fetal survey, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), and pediatric studies (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception)
- 4x10 hour day shifts; shift times are 8:00 AM–6:30 PM or 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- No on-call required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ultrasound/sonography
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- ARDMS RDMS certification required
- Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Proficiency in general ultrasound, small parts, vascular, OB/GYN, and pediatric sonography required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Valid driver's license required
- License required if applicable
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
Additional Information
- Performs all department tasks within radiology for both inpatient and outpatient encounters across multiple sites — candidates must be agreeable to floating to all three locations
- Orientation is held bi-weekly
- RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; no more than 5 days of RTO will be approved
- Block scheduling is not allowed
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a local pay rate
- Scrubs in any color are acceptable
