Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment in Washington State, working weekend day shifts with Epic EMR.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in a General Radiology / X-Ray department with 2 X-ray rooms
- Common imaging studies include fluoroscopy, surgical/OR X-ray, ED X-ray, inpatient, and portable studies
- Average of approximately 30 studies per day
- EMR: Epic; PACS: McKesson
- Equipment includes GE and Siemens systems
- 12-hour day shifts, 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM, Saturday through Monday, with call as needed
- No floating to other departments required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience
- Active ARRT (R) certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- Active Washington State Rad Tech license required at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted — license required if applicable
- ED X-ray and surgical/OR experience preferred
- Candidate must provide their own personal radiation dosimetry badge; the facility does not supply one
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
- Perform general diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, surgical/OR imaging, ED X-ray, inpatient, and portable studies
- Orientation consists of one week of Monday–Friday day shift training
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
- Local candidates are accepted
