Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of experience, ARRT certification, and strong surgical and fluoroscopy skills for a Level II Trauma Center setting.

Details

Acute care hospital setting at a 352-bed Level II Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center
Position is primarily focused on surgical coverage and fluoroscopy coverage
Charting performed in Epic
3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on a rotating schedule
Week 1: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
Every 3rd weekend required
On-call required
Holiday coverage may be required
No floating required

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of Radiology / X-Ray Technologist experience
Current ARRT (R) certification required
Current BLS required
Proficiency in surgical and fluoroscopy procedures required
Epic experience preferred
License required if applicable
Must provide a copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card for consideration
Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

Primary responsibilities include surgical suite coverage and fluoroscopy procedures
The only tertiary hospital between Kansas City and Omaha, supporting a broad regional patient population
Scrubs of any color or brand are acceptable
Free parking on-site
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a lower pay rate
Maximum of 2 RTO requests per contract
13-week contract
