Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position requiring an active CO or compact RN license, AHA certifications, and at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience.

Details

• Hospital Med/Surg unit setting
• Epic used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Med/Surg required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — must not expire prior to start date
• TNCC preferred
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Med/Surg patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and ongoing health data assessment
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, and refers patients as needed for further evaluation
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Drug screen must be completed within 24 hours of commitment; allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results
