Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and CRRT proficiency for a 13-week day shift contract at a hospital in Lancaster, SC.

Details

• ICU position within a 97-bed hospital
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 4x12-hour shifts preferred (3x12 also accepted)
• Patient ratio of 1:2 to 1:3
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Floating within scope to similar units or sister facilities may be required
• Charting via Epic
• Self-scheduling on a 6-week rotation
• Free parking available

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or compact/multi-state RN license required; must be in hand prior to start
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• CRRT experience required
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they meet the 2-year ICU experience requirement
• Candidates who were previously permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are given priority
• All requested time off must be disclosed prior to acceptance of the assignment; no additional PTO will be approved after the assignment begins
• Online modules must be completed prior to the start date

• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
