Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Dept RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a community hospital in Sierra Vista, AZ, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience and TNCC certification.

Details

• Work in a 22-bed Emergency Department at a community hospital in Sierra Vista, AZ
• Serves a diverse all-ages patient population including traumas, STEMIs, strokes, psych, cardiac, and GI cases
• Patient ratios: 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical, and 6:1 for fast track
• Trauma and pediatric experience are preferred
• Charting is done in Cerner
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
• No call or float requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC — AHA-issued certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Must live 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care to a wide range of patients including trauma, cardiac, stroke, psych, and pediatric cases
• Scrubs in any color or print are acceptable; non-scrubs, t-shirts, hoodies, leggings, and open-toe shoes are not permitted
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
