Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist for an evening shift position at a Level III Trauma facility, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Details

• Level III Trauma hospital with 286 staffed beds
• MRI department setting
• 5x8-hour evening shifts, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call rotation required: weekday call hours are 6:00 PM – 5:30 AM, and weekend call covers Saturday 5:30 AM through Monday 5:30 AM
• Weekends may be required if on call
• Charting performed in Epic
• Philips MRI equipment experience required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Tech experience required
• Current BLS (AHA only), and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• Hands-on experience with Philips MRI equipment required
• SC license required if applicable
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position

Additional Information

• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
• Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Previous permanent or PRN staff of this health system must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• Orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
• Scrub colors required: black pants and teal top
