Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and flexibility to float between IMC, Ortho, and Rehab units.

Details

• Position is in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical cases
• May care for COVID-positive patients
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Floating required between IMC, Ortho, and Rehab units as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Epic EMR experience is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of IMC or similar acute care RN experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Additional Information

• Candidates will undergo a clinical pre-screen to assess clinical fit before being forwarded to the manager for a final decision
• Manager interview is required

• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the contract duration
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial application for consideration
