Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring MI RN licensure and at least one year of RN experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Progressive Care Unit (11 East)
- Oncology patient population, including chemotherapy administration
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Oncology experience beneficial
- Must complete unit-based oncology course and orientation prior to administering non-vesicant chemotherapy
- ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course completion or OCN certification required to administer vesicant chemotherapy or care for patients actively receiving chemotherapy infusions
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care on an oncology-focused Progressive Care Unit
- Administer chemotherapy per unit protocols based on certification and training level
- Local candidates accepted for RNs residing in MI
