Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN with ortho, neuro, and trauma experience for a day/evening rotating schedule position requiring ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Hospital operating room setting
• Day/evening shifts, 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with rotating start times between 0600 and 2030
• Orthopedic, neurological, and trauma surgical cases
• On-call requirement of at least 1 night

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) required
• Current ACLS (American Heart Association) required
• Current PALS (American Heart Association) required
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
• Recent experience in the OR specialty within the last 3 months required
• Ortho, neuro, and trauma OR experience required
• Active, unrestricted license with no prior disciplinary action on record
• Two supervisor references required — one from the past year and one from within the past two years
• Date of birth and Social Security Number required for consideration
• CNOR certification preferred

Additional Information

• Circulator role responsible for managing the OR environment and supporting the surgical team intraoperatively
• Rotating start times between 0600 and 2030 should be expected throughout the contract
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
• A specialty-specific skills checklist completed within the past year is required
