Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with inpatient rehab experience for a 12-week travel contract at an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Nashville, TN.
Details
- 40-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
- Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, cardiac conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Day shift, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, typically Monday through Friday with 1-2 weekend shifts per month
- No call or float requirements
- 12-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of PT experience required
- Inpatient rehab or hospital experience required
- Experience working with adult and geriatric populations required
- Current PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides individualized, intensive rehabilitation across a variety of diagnoses including stroke, neuro, cardiac, debility, and orthopedic conditions
- Ideal candidates are flexible and dependable
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
