Description

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Pre-Op RN with CA licensure and preferred OR/pre-op experience for a variable day-shift schedule with no call requirements.

Details

• Work in the surgical pre-operative area of a hospital setting
• Variable shift schedule with 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• Start times fluctuate day to day
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Pre-op experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years of specialty experience required for OR-related roles
• Recent experience in the specialty within the last 3 months required
• Cerner and/or EPIC experience must be noted if applicable
• No prior adverse action on nursing license allowed

Additional Information

• Provide pre-operative nursing care and preparation for surgical patients
• No radius rule applies, and local candidates receive the same rate as traveling candidates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Traveler may only be submitted to one hospital within the health system at a time
