Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PICU position in the San Francisco Bay Area, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of PICU experience.

Details

• Pediatric ICU (PICU) setting within a major academic medical center
• Variable day and night shifts: Days 7:00–19:30, Nights 19:00–7:30 (3x12-hour shifts)
• Floating to other facilities within the same health system may be required
• Patient care involves conscious sedation, intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring, telemetry, mechanical ventilation, and central line care

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• Proficiency with conscious sedation, ICP monitoring, telemetry, mechanical ventilators, and central line care required
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• Bone marrow transplant (BMT) experience preferred
• CCRN certification preferred
• Completed references must be on file prior to consideration
