Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of IR Tech experience and RCIS or ARRT certification for a 13-week contract in California.
Details
- Work in an Interventional Radiology Lab supporting cardiologists, radiologists, and RNs
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
- Shift hours run from 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Rotating nights and weekend call required; no regular weekend requirement
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an IR Technologist (facility notes 2 years preferred)
- RCIS or ARRT (R) certification required; CA Radiology Technologist license required if applicable
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include providing technical support for IR procedures, performing patient assessment, and monitoring patients under the supervision of a cardiologist
- May be responsible for mentoring and training students
- Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety
- Only one holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
- Former employees or travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
