Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract in Lima, OH, requiring 1+ year of ED experience and active TNCC certification.

Details

• Emergency department (ED) setting within a hospital health system
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to all units within skill level is required

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license (must show active status in Nursys)
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Active TNCC certification required
• Minimum 1 year of ED experience required
• Must be able to float to all units within skill level

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria
• Assists in directing and teaching non-RN staff such as LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries
• Clinical judgments are made based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this contract
• Copies of all certifications must be provided for consideration
