Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Med-Surg-Tele Night Shift position in the Knoxville, TN area, requiring at least 1 year of relevant experience and active TN or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Med/Surg/Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Cerner EMR used

Requirements

• Active RN license for Tennessee (TN state license or compact license)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Stepdown or Med/Surg/Tele RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Travel experience is preferred but not required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Royal blue scrubs required; white, royal blue, or black t-shirt may be worn under the scrub top
• Completion of Advanced Learning Center modules required for all travelers
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
