Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Acute Rehab RN for a night shift travel contract in Petoskey, MI, requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute rehab experience and an active MI RN license.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
- Serves an acutely ill patient population spanning the full life span and multiple body systems, including patients with unstable medical conditions and surgical interventions
- Night shift: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of acute rehab experience required
Additional Information
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary health care teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care based on physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual assessments
- Applies clinical judgment to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions, including monitoring and prevention of physiological complications
- Utilizes evidence-based practice and the Clinical Practice Model (CPM) in delivering patient care
- Demonstrates leadership through knowledge-sharing, serving as a clinical resource, and acting as a professional role model
- Reports to shift Team Leader and is accountable to the Department Manager
- This facility enforces a strict 3-strike attendance policy — contractors who are absent or more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated immediately; exceptions may be considered with supporting documentation for communicable illness or hospitalization
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
