Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel ICU position in Glens Falls, NY, requiring a minimum of 5 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to Med/Surg and Telemetry units is required when needed
- Epic EMR — experience is required
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required — must be uploaded with profile; facility will not pend license or certs
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 3 years of ICU/CCU experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have a personal vehicle
- A valid Driver's License or State ID with a permanent address that can be verified is required
- 1–2 supervisory signed references from within the past two years of employment required
- Skills checklist pertinent to the position, current within 1 year, required
- A negative 14-panel drug screen is required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
Additional Information
- Candidates with a permanent address in the following New York counties are not eligible for this travel assignment: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
- All new and returning agency staff must have completed verbal de-escalation training through Welle (welletraining.com) or CPI (crisisprevention.com) prior to onboarding
- RTO must be disclosed and verified at time of profile submission — RTO requests after submission will not be approved, and no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
- Scheduling accommodations cannot be considered
- Dress code: personal scrubs of any solid color — no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
- COVID vaccination is encouraged but not required
