Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS certification and experience in general, limited OB/early gestational, and vascular ultrasound for a 13-week assignment in an inpatient imaging setting.

Details

• Inpatient hospital imaging department setting
• Scope of practice includes general ultrasound, limited OB/early gestational ultrasound, and vascular ultrasound studies
• Works independently on weekends without additional ultrasound staff on site
• 4x10 hour day shifts per week, working Saturday, Monday, Friday, and Sunday
• Orientation period consists of Monday through Friday 8-hour day shifts prior to transitioning to the weekend schedule

Requirements

• ARDMS certification required
• Experience in general, limited OB/early gestational, and vascular ultrasound required
• Negative cotinine test required for employment eligibility
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• This is a non-smoking facility; a cotinine (nicotine) test is required and must return a negative result
• Candidate must be comfortable working independently during weekend shifts without ultrasound department colleagues on site
